These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of NUVO CHARGE portable charging devices (“Devices”) and any related services, websites, applications, or rental stations operated by NUVO CHARGE (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By renting, using, or accessing any NUVO CHARGE device or service, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility
To rent or use a NUVO CHARGE Device, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age.
Possess a valid debit/credit card or approved digital payment method.
Agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Rental Process
2.1 Device Collection
You may rent a NUVO CHARGE Device through any NUVO CHARGE station or approved partner location. By inserting or tapping your bank card as instructed on the NUVO CHARGE rental station. By doing so you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method.
2.2 Rental Duration
Rental continues until the Device is returned to any NUVO CHARGE station. You remain responsible for the Device until it has been formally checked back into a station.
2.3 Usage Fees
Rental fees are clearly displayed on the station and/or on our website, available to you prior to checkout. All fees are automatically charged to your registered payment method and may include:

Hourly fee

Daily maximum fee
-
No return fee
3. Returns
To end your rental, you must return the Device to an official NUVO CHARGE station.
A rental is not considered complete until:

The Device is firmly inserted into an available NUVO CHARGE charging slot.

The station confirms the return.

If the station is offline or experiencing technical issues, the Device must be returned to another operational station. Full list of locations available on our website.
4. Device Care & Responsibilities
You agree to:

Use the Device only for charging personal electronic devices.
-
Keep the Device safe, dry, and free from damage.
-
Not disassemble, modify, or attempt to repair the Device.
-
Immediately report any issues or malfunctions.
-
You accept full responsibility for the Device during your rental period.
5. Lost, Damaged, or Unreturned Devices
If a Device is lost, stolen, damaged, or not returned within the maximum rental period specified, you may be charged a Device Replacement Fee, which will be displayed at the point of rental and/or listed on our website.
Examples of chargeable events include:

Physical damage

Water damage
-
Missing cables
-
Missing Device
-
Device not returned within the applicable time window to a NUVO CHARGE station

Once a replacement fee is charged, the rental period is considered closed.
6. Payments & Billing
By renting a NUVO CHARGE Device, you authorise us to charge your stored payment method for all applicable fees, including but not limited to:

Rental fees.

Late fees.
-
Damage or replacement fees.

Outstanding amounts from previous rentals
-
All charges are final unless proven to be an error.
7. Refunds
Refunds may be issued for:

Technical errors resulting in failed returns

Incorrect billing caused by a system malfunction
Refunds will not be issued for:
-
Change of mind
-
User negligence
-
Failure to return the Device correctly
8. Liability
8.1 User Liability
You are responsible for:

Any damage you cause to NUVO CHARGE Devices.

Harm resulting from misuse.
-
Costs related to loss, theft, or non-return.
8.2 NUVO CHARGE Liability
NUVO CHARGE is not responsible for:

Damage to your personal devices caused by improper use
-
Loss of data, business, or revenue due to charging failures
-
Injuries or damages caused by negligence, misuse, or failure to follow instructions

Our Devices are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties.
9. Acceptable Use
Users may not:

Use Devices for commercial resale
-
Tamper with or steal Devices or Stations
-
Use Devices for unlawful activities
-
Interfere with NUVO CHARGE systems, servers, or network security
-
Misuse may result in account suspension and/or legal action.
10. Privacy
We collect and use your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website. This includes:

Payment information
-
Location data (for rental/return verification)
-
Device usage data
-
We do not sell your personal information
11. Modifications to Terms
NUVO CHARGE may update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our Devices constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our services if:

You violate these Terms

You provide false payment information

You repeatedly fail to return Devices correctly
-
Outstanding fees remain payable even after termination
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes must be resolved in the courts of Ireland.
